This article is about the blink-and-you-miss-it marquee from "Make Tracks". For the real-life movie from 1986, see The Transformers: The Movie.
The Transformers: The Movie is a film in the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Probably doesn't feature Optimus Prime dying.

In 1985 or thereabouts, with knowledge of the Transformers' exploits known world-wide, a theatrical film about them was released, entitled The Transformers: The Movie.

Fiction

The Transformers: The Movie was given a headline marquee billing at New York City's Transformer movie theater. Make Tracks

Notes

  • This little Easter egg, which appears for just a split second as a background image, is just about the only reference to the then-upcoming animated movie to actually make it into the pre-movie cartoon episodes.
