| The name or term "Wheelie" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Wheelie (disambiguation). |
- Wheelie is an Autobot, cheerful as the sun, in the continuity family of Generation 1.

Wheelie, so small, is an Autobot child,
But when stakes are high, he gets mean and wild!
He carries a slingshot that shoots hurtful things,
They'll hit you in the nose (the projectile stings!).
He has a speech pattern that's structured in rhyme,
And he hangs out with Daniel most of the time.
Some think he's annoying and wish he would die,
His answer to that? Here's death in your eye!
- Hungarian name: is basically the same.
- However in the movie's first dub, Ugrabot was the name of the bub
- In French-Canada our little fellow chooses to be called: Tourbillo
- The English/Malay dub that's oh-so-silly often calls this little bot: Willy
- The Italians thought that they could do better, so in their dubbed movie they called him: Saetta
- For non-movie media, they tried something cuter. For everything else, they named him: Scooter
Fiction
Cartoon continuity, from our childhoods you see
The 'toon from Generation 1, where it all had begun
- Voice actor: Frank Welker (English), Kazue Komiya (Japanese).

On far off Quintessa his ship it did crash,
Wheelie survived, but his ship turned to ash.
Though friendless and alone, Wheelie stayed alive,
For Wheelie is strong and the strong must survive!
One fateful day, the Dinobots came in search of their friends,
So Wheelie gayly offered to help them meet their ends.
With his confident walk and his whimsical talk,
Wheelie earned the respect of the Mighty Grimlock!
Then with the help of Hot Rod, Kup and the rest,
Wheelie returned to Cybertron, most can attest.
The Transformers: The Movie
In 2006, for all that it's worth,
He had to bring Metroplex's cog down to Earth.
To accomplish the task, they paired him with fast-talking Blurr,
But Galvatron stranded them on Io, that villainous cur!
Five Faces of Darkness, Part 3
Being attacked by lipoles, things began to look grim,
Luckily, Marissa and Sky Lynx came to rescue them!
With the cog at last delivered, Metroplex came alive,
He thrashed Trypticon and that vile villain took a dive!
Five Faces of Darkness, Part 4
With Grimlock and Blurr, Wheelie listened to Kup,
As he yammered on and on and refused to shut up.
His story was about the Ick-Yaks on Dread,
But when Grimlock mentioned Chaos, Kup lost his head!
Chaos
With his good buddy Daniel, they found a horrible place,
A haunted mausoleum built for the Autobot Race!
Attacked by Decepticons, they were saved by a zombie,
Whose shambling shape sent Daniel running for Mommy!
Dark Awakening
Not long after that, with no assignment or mission,
Wheelie volunteered for a fun competition.
But the timestream was getting all out of place,
And Wheelie got stuck in an unending race!
Forever Is a Long Time Coming
On Earth Wheelie witnessed crimes that were weird,
As multiple landmarks just disappeared!
The Dinobots were suspected, but he didn't buy the hype,
Because the true criminal was an ethnic stereotype!
Thief in the Night

In his biggest adventure, Wheelie searched for a way,
To deduce the exact date of Magnus's birthday!
He knew finding the truth would be kind of tricky,
So once again he paired up with Daniel Witwicky.
Their search led them straight to a storage asteroid,
Being spied on by Cyclonus (how paranoid!).
Cyclonus took them hostage and made his demands,
But Magnus wouldn't leave them in villainous hands!
When Magnus arrived, he charged straight at his foe,
But as they went at it, little did they know,
That Wheelie snuck past them and pressed the self-destruct,
Which meant if they lingered they would surely be ****ed!
So Cyclonus retreated as the asteroid blew up,
And Magnus saved the kids from their monumental screw up!
As it turned out, Magnus didn't know his own birthday,
So their entire adventure was pointless, anyway.
Surprise Party
With other Autobots, Wheelie found Paradron,
A utopian planet that Sandstorm lived on!
Galvatron tried to take it and make it his base,
But gave up when Ultra Magnus blew up the place.
Fight or Flee
On another adventure, Wheelie didn't do much,
But fill out the crowds, standing around and such.
Grimlock's New Brain

Wheelie was slightly more active in his next major caper,
As Cybertron was being drained of its energy vapor!
Wheelie shot at a Tornedron as a spider bathed in light,
But Tornedron drained his life, leaving Wheelie's body white.
Call of the Primitives
Wheelie, Kup, Bumblebee, and Blurr happened on a human's plot,
And when they battled a plagued Superion, Wheelie was shot!
The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 1
He was revived by a Quintesson who tried to work faster,
But when Optimus Prime set out, they replaced him with Blaster!
The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 2
Japanese cartoon continuity, 'cause theirs is a bit different, you see
The Headmasters cartoon, which after The Transformers came quite soon
- Voice actor: Kazue Komiya (Japanese)
His words to Chromedome? "It's too late for apologies!"
By 2011, Wheelie was too petulant to rhyme,
He blamed everything on Chromedome, like, all of the time.
Although a jerk to the core, Wheelie was not all alone,
He hung out with Daniel and the two were quite danger-prone.
Four Warriors Come out of the Sky
At one point, at a party he had too much to drink,
He got drunk and passed out, that adorable rat-fink!
The Shadow Emperor, Scorponok
Headmasters manga comic book, come inside and take a look

best of all is supple young boys!
Shortly after the defeat of Mega Zarak,
Soundblaster showed up and began to attack!
Wheelie, unprepared, took a kick right to the face.
All can agree he was put in his place!
When Slugfest and Overkill, took hostage Carly and Spike,
Daniel went berserk and started to strike!
Sending the Cassette dinosaurs running back home,
Soundblaster was left open to an attack from Chromedome.
As the Autobots left Earth, Wheelie and Daniel said "Goodbye".
They cuddled and they snuggled and started to cry.
The Headmasters issue 8
Comics titled 15 Go! Go!, but the American importers said "No! No!"
Teletraan 15's panties were so frilly and white,
But when Wheelie peeked, 10 took this as a slight!
Kup also came to give Wheelie a scolding,
And then hugged 15, whose spine now needs remolding!
15 Go! Go!
Marvel Comics continuity, the people behind Spider-Man, we all can see
Comics for Generation 1, the same canon where it all begun

Future timelines from Marvel UK, they wondered what the characters' future selves had to say
None too far did Wheelie roam,
Still, he called Quintesson his home.
For Rodimus Prime he was quite the spy,
And liked to report on what locals would try.
The rescue of Wreck-Gar was his claim to fame,
Then Wheelie helped spoil the Quintessons' name.
Space Pirates!
Comics for Generation 2, where Wheelie isn't there through and through
Here in the present, Wheelie hasn't been seen,
He might be too young, if you know what we mean?
Still if one wants to argue he's in this abode...
Look, there's Wheelie! Right there on the road!
The Power and the Glory
Dreamwave Comics continuity, before they went bankrupt, you see
Although Shockwave promised peace to one and all,
Wheelie was smart and for that ruse he did not fall.
He joined a team along with Gnaw, his Sharkticon pet.
Together they strove to unveil Shockwave's evil threat.
Optimus Prime wasted no time in joining their side,
But thought Gnaw was attacking and beat his ugly hide.
Wheelie didn't take this well and thought Prime a brute,
So in retaliation, he bit the Commander's boot!
Passive Aggression
The Universe continuity, where all the different canons went and roamed free
With Dr. Fujiyama in tow, the Autobots were quite screwed.
It seems a legion of Nightbirds were in a terrible mood!
With Wheelie injured thanks to a shot in the back,
Scar-faced Daniel realized the villains would cut them no slack.
Prepared to die to stop the evil hordes,
Wheelie told Daniel these few final words:
With a grenade pin pulled, signalling doom,
Daniel ended their friendship with a massive Kaboom!
Departure

Centuries passed, with Wars both Great and of Beast,
And once again Unicron was prepared to feast!
An alternate Wheelie was poached from his home,
And locked in the Cauldron where no one could roam.
He would fight other Transformers till death, either one;
The loser would feed his spark to hungry Unicron!
Trapped in a cage, Wheelie was doomed to meet his maker,
However, he was saved by Silverbolt and Trailbreaker!
He escaped with the others, through a portal they were hurled,
Towards perhaps his home universe, a return to his world!
Escape
IDW comics continuity, the current publisher (we all agree)

Wheelie wanted to help and all,
But the Autobots thought he was too small.
Then one day he got his due,
But radiation crashed his ship—boo hoo!
The world's creatures towered over him;
He greeted one and lost a limb.
He got it back, so he wasn't sunk,
But where he found it really stunk.
Alas, he dug in poop in vain;
After, transforming caused great pain.
The trail of a crashed ship he embarked upon,
But when he found it—Decepticon!
An alien was tortured by Spectro and Spyglass,
But Wheelie swooped in and saved Varta's ass.
Wheelie had saved him just in time,
So he taught Wheelie how to rhyme!
Varta had a ship that flew,
And Wheelie's power source would do.
They both prepared to leave the place,
But Spyglass shot Varta in the face!
They took the ship and left Wheelie to his doom,
But he surprised the 'Cons and made the ship go kaboom!
One year later, he and Varta have a home,
And his fate no longer does Wheelie bemoan!
Spotlight: Wheelie
Toys
Toys for Generation 1, where the whole toyline begun

- Wheelie (Mini Vehicle, 1986)
- Japanese ID number: C-80
- Wheelie's transformation does not go very far, he turns into a generic "futuristic car". Surprisingly enough, the fans' fancy he tickles, as he's the only new mold of the third-year Mini Vehicles.
- Future Cybertron (Transformers Collection, 2005)
- Japanese ID number: TF-20
- Wheelie was reissued in a Japanese "Transformers Collection" set. Targetmaster Kup and Recoil, you also did get! The reissue's different in an unexpected way; where the old face was orange, the new one is gray!
Universe (2008), when some show-accurate toys came quite late

G1 Series based on the old toys, to bring happiness to the fanboys
- Wheelie (Legends, 2009)
- Along with many other Mini Vehicles from Generation 1, Wheelie was released as a Legends figure for pocket-sized fun. To make the rhyming one a little neater, he now transforms into a "Junk Planet speeder!"[1] Hasbro was thoughtful, and kept Wheelie armed. They sculpted a slingshot! Enemies be alarmed!
Henkei! Henkei! Quite a color change, we say
- Minibot Spy Team (Multi-pack, 2009)
- Japanese ID number: C-19
- TakaraTomy's Wheelie has colors more mellow; over in Japan, he's light orange-yellow. He comes packed with two other Minibots totaling three, though Warpath and Cosmos are not for free.
Notes
- In the first commercial where Wheelie did appear, his voice didn't sound anywhere near! Although Frank Welker did the gig, Wheelie's voice came much deeper, dig? In fact — and we're sure you'll all agree — he sounded like the Smurfs' pal Peewit! (That's pronounced "Peewee", you see.)
- Chris Ryall said Wheelie would get a spotlight on his blog. His hide the fans did wish to flog. On Jizai's design Klaus Scherwinski did base, for Wheelie's sake he does not lose face.
- Among those who dislike Wheelie is Floro Dery, his creator—really! Dery's said that of all his Transformers designs, Wheelie's the one that he most maligns—maybe even the only one! Honest, it's true! You can read for yourself in this interview! [2]

- In Armada, his animation model was used. He agreed with his boss, and Hot Shot was abused. They believed Hot Shot's friend had died in those flames. Thanks to those jerks, Hot Shot is who he blames.
- In "Bee in the City", they thought 'Bee was Wheelie, and some other guys who he never was really!
- Though Wheelie thought his body looked fine, for AHM he got a redesign! Guido Guidi was not enthused, and in Spotlight: Wheelie it didn't get used.
