Tarantulas is so awesome he makes me crap my pants!

Could we limit talk pages to relevant conversation, please? - RolonBolon 23:12, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Question

I didn't know where else to place this question, so I did it here. I've been thinking of doing an article on Tarantulas' lair, yet he had two lairs during the series: one underground near the Darksyde during Season 1, and one that he found during Season 2 and used for the remainder of the series. Should I do individual articles on each, or combine them under one article? -- SFH 18:46, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

I think it should be a subsection of Tarantulas's page, personally, but if it does end up being separate then they should definitely be one article. - Dark T Zeratul 19:05, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

Origin controversy

I recognize that everybody has their own different scale of valuing author intent, and also that various articles on this wiki come down on different sides of that (i.e. Transmutate's gender). I tried to be very conservative in my edit. --Thylacine 2000 14:43, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

Tarantulas' Origin

This may sound stupid of me, but has anyone already pointed out that Tarantulas (and maybe the Tripredacus council) maybe be decendants of the Quintessons? Just a thought.

It's more a matter of the fact that they could be decendant from ANYONE really. The only thing we know is they aren't descendent from the Ark Decepticons. There's really too many other posibilities to list each unless there's something that specifically hints in its direction.
It's not just "Ark Decepticons" that we know they aren't descended from. When Tigerhawk tells him that the timestorm from destroying the Ark would wipe out his entire races, Tarantulas responds "only those descended from Autobot or Decepticon." That's a much broader group. --KilMichaelMcC 03:31, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
This is one of those tricky little bits where we're given so little information, and all of it vague, that IMO the best approach is just to provide all the relevant quotes verbatim and let the reader make his own conclusion. -- Repowers 03:41, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
