"The Man of Steel"
Spike is now a hero who gets a unique opportunity.
Synopsis
Spike lies in a hospital, cared for by a number of nurses who seemingly forgot some part of their clothing... He is visited by three officials, who have an offer for him, but first want to know how he got into the miserable state he is in. Spike tells them that after the main Decepticon force war driven off, he became part of a team whose mission was to find any remaining robots, hidden and / or (partially) incapacitated and deactivate them. After a while, they stumbled across Ravage, who very nearly ended his life, but Spike finally made it, though badly hurt.
The visitors reveal that Skywatch shall become an international organization with the purpose of protecting earth from alien (read: Transformer) danger, and they want Spike to be the head of its strike force. He agrees, but is none to happy when he thereafter gets to know that his father is overall chief of Skywatch.

- Nurses don't exactly wear that kind of uniform this century. Perhaps these were ... call girls? Maybe?
Items of note
- The colonel seems to imply that the former head of Skywatch was not American. Skywatch was an American government agency, so that's a bit strange.
- The names of Frank Shin and Peter Dille are references to several individuals well-known for their involvement in the original Transformers cartoon: Megatron voice actor Frank Welker, animation director Nelson Shin, Optimus Prime voice actor Peter Cullen and writer/story editor Flint Dille.
"Hidden"
Bumblebee puts himself in danger to be a hero.
Synopsis
After the departure of the Decepticons, the human military hunted down any remaining Transformers. Somehow Bumblebee got separated from his team in the ruins of New York City. He managed to avoid capture until he revealed his location to save some humans from a burning/collapsing building. He was injured by the military but saved by the arrival of the Autobots, who had figured that he would eventually expose himself to save someone.

Errors
- Bumblebee appears not in his IDW body, but in a design that resembles the Bumblebee Guido Guidi drew for one of the covers of Infiltration issue 1. (The same mistake was made in the Avengers crossover. Perhaps Bumblebee occasionally moonlights in this design?)
- In fact, most of the Autobots are not in their IDW bodies. Ratchet in particular is strictly based on this IDW art by Guido, and he has Animated Ratchet's rescue logos on his shoulders to boot. The real-life explanation for this is most likely due to the Red Cross's holding of the copyright for the standard medical symbol.
