Queeg Mountain is an active volcano located on the planet Dread. It goes without saying that, like most places on Dread, horrible things live there — in this case, both shrikebats and the hideous monster known as Chaos.
Fiction
Generation 1 cartoon
Many years ago, Kup was captured by Orb slavers, and put to work in the death crystal mines deep within Queeg Mountain. During an appearance by Chaos, Kup was able to escape, but was forced to leave his fellow prisoners behind.
When the Decepticons learned of the death crystals, they took over the mines of Queeg Mountain, using the Orb's prisoners as slave labour. Kup returned to the mountain with a group of Autobots, and ventured inside alone to face Chaos. Within the caves, Kup was able to free the prisoners, and finally destroy Chaos using Galvatron's cannon, an act which caused Queeg Mountain to erupt violently. Chaos
