Human Alliance is an assortment for the Revenge of the Fallen toyline. Following Alternators's lead, the Transformers in this assortment are accurate scale recreations of licensed vehicles with operating doors and realistic interiors (though not to the level of detail of the Alternators). However, these sets also include a human (or humanoid) figure who can sit inside the alternate mode or be attached to one of several positions on the robot mode. There is also a weapon accessory for the human to operate in this mode.
Although ostensibly intended to mimic the NEST alliance between the humans and Autobots seen in the movie, a set with Barricade and Frenzy is planned.
Toys
- Bumblebee/Sam Witwicky
- Sideswipe/Sgt Epps
- Skids/Mikaela Banes/Arcee
- Barricade/Frenzy
- Mudflap/Agent Simmons/Chormia
Notes
- For some reason, the designs for Arcee and Chromia have been accidentally switched.
- Due to the enormous workload the TakaraTomy designers were under, Shogo Hasui was by default the one assigned to present a proof-of-concept prototype for Human Alliance subset. He rapidly created the proof-of-concept model using a 2007 Transformers Voyager class Ratchet toy with a new shoulder (that turned into a seat for the human passenger in either mode), a new left forearm (which turned into a motorcycle) and a new gigantic weapons array. He revealed that the line's requirements stated that the robot modes only needed to have a passing resemblance to the movie design, jokingly stating that he had "accidentally" created a well-made Bumblebee robot mode.[1]
- Ironhide and Ratchet would have been the next Human Alliance figures after Bumblebee, but this was changed to Sideswipe and Skids due to the large size of their vehicle modes.[1]
- The relatively small sizes of Skids and Mudflap was the main reason why Arcee and Chromia were included.[1]
- Hisashi Yuki took over the Human Alliance line after Bumblebee.[1]
