In one possible scenario, after the Decepticons capture the invisibility device and use it to provide cover for their attack on Autobot City, Ms. Sanders is able to create an invisibility scrambler to nullify its effects. Presumably out of a coat hanger and some chewing gum. The Autobots are able to fire upon the surprised Decepticons and take them prisoner.
