The Transportation mode is an extra mode specialized for transportation usage besides the ordinary vehicle mode. The transportation mode usually features a transporting device, such as wheels, wings, rotors, or a surfing board.

Beast Wars

Almost each of the Transmetal characters possesses a transportation mode. The term "Transportation mode" is sometimes referred as flying mode or vehicle mode.
The following Transmetal characters were referred as having a transportation mode:
