- The Animorphs are a Human and Alien subgroup from the Animorphs continuity family.
"Animorph" was the title given to each member of a group of five teenagers (and one Andalite) that acted as guerrilla soldiers in the covert war against the Yeerks, alien slugs secretly invading the Earth. Their goal was to stall said invasion, until Andalite reinforcements could arrive to help. The term refers specifically to individuals who are members of this group, not as what might be commonly believed, any being with the ability to morph.
