::: Yes, we've already had this discussion. Connections or not, Cobra-La never happened in Transformers fiction, and adding it in means we have to have a complete G.I. Joe, Dr. Who, and Fantastic Four wikipedia in this wiki as well. Hey, Death's Head met all these guys, you know? And they met all these guys, and ... I mean, dude, do we really want to have to make full entries on Presidents Reagan and Bush Sr? No. We stick to strictly what's been seen in Transformers material. --[[User:ItsWalky|ItsWalky]] 23:16, 27 April 2006 (UTC) | ::: Yes, we've already had this discussion. ::::Was unaware that the discussion had been had already, so, fair enough. Can't say as how I particularly agree with it, though, and I don't see why one casual mention, or at least a single page detailing the concept of the shared "Sunbow Universe" automatically means a "complete wikipedia" is needed. I mean, does that mean that for a Death's Head entry, one cannot mention the fact that he met the FF, or the Doctor, or Dragon's Claws, or whatever - because that somehow means they need an entry? Ach, I have not the strength in me to argue. :) - Chris McFeely

From [http://transformers.wikia.com Teletraan I: The Transformers Wiki], a [http://www.wikia.com Wikia] wiki.
| ::::Was unaware that the discussion had been had already, so, fair enough. Revision as of 02:19, 28 April 2006
I'm uneasy about the way the latest revision [1] constructs its timeline, seemingly declaring that Beast Wars definitely happened in the G1 cartoon universe and that the G1 cartoon universe is definitely the same as the GI Joe cartoon universe. (Or, at least, is similar enough that it includes Cobra-La for example.) Multi-continuity synthesis is sometimes appropriate, but should always be explained, and here I don't think it is appropriate in the first place. The entry would be much better off split up into sections for different TF series, like many of our other articles. --Steve-o 23:05, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
The Ice age happened after beast Wars. X-BoB58 23:18, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- X-bob- which ice age?
- Ar we sure we want to remove Cobra-La? Didn't Old Snake exhibit evidenc eof the changes from gi Joe:TM? -derik
- He did, ya know. Scaley fingers comin' outta the gloves. Anyway, fair point on the G1/BW bit, I was jest a-portin' it over from Wikipedia without thinking enough about it. I do feel that the other Sunbow shows deserve some kinda reference here, though, even as a footnote or something, as they are nominally the same Earth. There's a bit of a list of numerous connections that may sway ye. - Chris McFeely
