Many of the main "star warriors" fight using Transformer-like battle mecha that change from space vehicles to combat robots. These mecha are piloted from within and are not apparently sentient beings like true Transformers. The pilots trigger their vehicle's transformation by summoning something called "The Force." Rather unique to this conflict, many of the key figures in these Star Wars pilot clearly customized mecha whose robot modes are based closely on their own physical appearance.  Based on the possible size of the Star Warriors relative to the average Transformer (see below), their transforming ships may be on a scale with massive city-bots like [[Fortress Maximus (G1)|Fortress Maximus]].


Aside from these battle mecha, the "star warriors" employ great numbers of [[Mechanoids/Drones|droids]] of wildely varying type. Though some are highly intelligent and have fully-formed personalities, they are not considered to be "alive". Some droids are geared for battle; mass armies of droids, while individually weak, can prove very deadly, as has been witnessed with the armies of [[Vehicon]]s and [[Decepticlone]]s from the Transformers' multiverse. Other droids merely play support roles for their organic masters.
