Transformers: Prime is an upcoming computer-animated television series that will air on The Hub in late 2010.

Confirmed news

  • Susan Blu is the casting director (and likely voice director) for the series. Michael Bell and David Sobolov have auditioned for parts. Bell auditioned for Ratchet and "General Fowler."[1]
  • According to his official fansite, Jeffrey Combs will be voicing the role of Ratchet and there are 26 episodes scheduled for the first season.[2]
  • The series will have Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci as executive producers, and the cartoon is described as "cg-animated". [3] Alongside Kurtzman and Orci, one of the "show runners" is Jeff Kline.[4]
  • Digitalscape has announced on their website that they would be responsible for the CG production. [5]
  • It is not yet known which continuity family the series will take place in, but it has been revealed that it will follow on from the back-story set up by the upcoming War for Cybertron video game and its tie-in book, Exodus: The Official History of the War for Cybertron.[citation needed]
