Rattletrap apparently gave info on Omega Supreme's activation codes to Shockwave. He was later interrogated by Ratchet and Captain Fanzone, who threatened to slime him if he didn't give them access to a high-security infirmary on Cybertron. This threat proved effective, but the access key card Rattletrap provided turned out not to work. Ultimately it didn't matter, as Jazz had been tailing them the whole time, and let them in. This Is Why I Hate Machines

Notes

  • Rattletrap's name was not spoken in the episode in which he appeared. It was listed in the end credits.
  • Rattletrap's name comes off as a portmanteau of both his American name and his Japanese name (Rattle), but as "rattletrap" is actually a word (with an amusingly appropriate meaning), that's probably more of a coincidence than anything intentional.
  • Rattletrap's voice owes a little more to Lou Costello than Rattrap's did.
