Maybe he represents Starscream's lack of originality.
  • The fact of the "Starscream Clone Black Ver." toy representing an original character, based solely on his name, is an admittedly specious proposition. However, the TakaraTomy webpage[1] detailing their Starscream clone-themed promotion shows the Black Starscream clone standing with the preexisting clones around what is plainly the original Starscream (see right), which would seem to counteract the possibility that "Starscream Clone Black Ver." is just Starscream or another clone with a black body or something along those lines. Hello, nebulous toy-original character!
