Though he disagreed with the decision, after consulting the Oracle Tank, the archivist accepted the position, undergoing the inauguration ceremony in the Chamber, becoming Optimus Prime. He was immediately attacked by a Decepticon assassination squad, and handed them their skidplates. Grimlock approved.
