- A cy-gar is a Cybertronian device from the Generation 1 continuity family.

A cy-gar is a device used to deliver a dose of its contents to a Cybertronian through the mouth. Millions of cycles ago, they were used to deliver a poison willingly consumed by the user because of some perceived benefit.

To suppress Kup's flashbacks of slagging everyone on the planet with the crystals, Kup was given a cy-gar that fed him a synthetic version of the planet's crystal energy. Perceptor, who helped develop the special cy-gar, was assigned to Kup's unit with a supply of cy-gars to provide to Kup when needed. Everything in Its Right Place
