In the later days of the Great War, Gigatron was a P.O.W. turned over to his fellow Decepticons in exchange for the release of Moonradar.

- Gigatron is rather clearly based on Megatron from Robots in Disguise, who was known as Gigatron in Japan's Car Robots.
