When she morphs into a wolf, Cassie gains access to her Raker Claws. Though what exactly makes them special when compared to a wolf's regular claws is uncertain.

Toys

  • Cassie/Wolf (Deluxe, 1999)
    • Accessories: Left paw, right paw
Part of the first wave of Animorphs toys, Cassie transforms from what is evidently supposed to be a human into a wolf, as well as a transitional third mode combining features from both. Like many Animorphs toys, she has a pair of wolf claws, the "Raker Claws", that attach to her hands like gloves; unlike the other toys, they are not actually necessary to complete her wolf mode (as it has four paws already), though they can still be used in that mode.

Notes

  • It can be speculated that the Raker Claws are disproportionately larger than a regular wolf's claws based on Cassie's toy. The wolfs paws that are integrated into the toy resemble more closely what a wolf's real paws look like, and the Raker Claws included with the toy are absurdly over-sized in comparison. But saying that anything is definitive on this subject would be speculative extrapolation.
