Frances Louise McDormand (born June 23, 1957) is an American actress.
Best known for her Oscar-winning role as Marge Gunderson in Fargo (alongside Peter Stormare), she has also appeared in such films as Almost Famous, North Country, and Blood Simple. Also, Darkman.
She'll play the National Intelligence Director in Transformers: The Dark of the Moon.[1]
