Professor Simion Hawkins is a middle-aged scientist from the Detroit Institute of Advanced Technology. His peers labeled him a fool for his wild theories about time travel, and he became a recluse, but he never stopped working on his ideas.

Time-Quake

Over the course of ten years, Professor Hawkins was eventually able to construct a working prototype time machine hidden in a Detroit warehouse. He intended to use it to solve the problem of world hunger by farming animals from the past. Unfortunately the device proved unstable, causing holes in space/time through which animals and humans became displaced, and he was forced to spend all of his time trying to send them back. Eventually his experiments got the attention of the Autobots, and he attempted to hold them off by bringing dinosaurs and other animals to keep them busy. A lone human who'd been assisting the Autobots managed to sneak into the building and talk him into giving himself up, and he was promptly arrested by the police. Time-Quake
