Megumi Otoboto

Megumi Otoboto (音仏めぐみ Otoboto Megumi) is matriarch of the Otoboto family, the wife of Hiroyuki Otoboto and mother of Yūka and Tatsuya. Megumi's pretty and gentle, and she warmly watches over her husband and son in their Transformers obsessions. She and her husband have a very strong, loving relationship.

Following the premiere of Transformers Animated in the Otoboto household, Hiroyuki lavished upon his son a complete set of Animated Autobot toys. Ever the beacon of bad timing, Megumi chose that moment to come into the living room with dinner. The mealtime conversation was going nicely until Megumi made the mistake of using the word "transform". This immediately set Hiroyuki and Tatsuya off onto a conversation about Transformers.
