Strada is a Maximal in the Beast Era portion of the Generation 1 continuity.

Strada was the commanding officer of the Thoroughbred Corps, a Maximal unit made up of horse-transformers. The Corps was destroyed in unknown circumstances, and Strada was killed.

Strada's beast head can raise up to reveal a cannon in its mouth.

An adaptive weapons system created an image of Strada in order to extract information from Mach Kick, his former second-in-command. When Mach Kick became suspicious of his reactions, Strada's image attempted to kill him. Longrack disrupted the Strada projection and saved his teammate.
