B'ghdad is an alien mechanoid from the Generation 1 continuity family.

I dunno about you, but I think this guy's a baddie.

B'ghdad's goons were close to obtaining the bird when they got into a firefight with Louie and other members of Gutt's gang. In the confusion, three robots walked off with the bird. Later, B'ghdad was able to track the bird to a pawn shop, where it was being picked up by one of the robots. B'ghdad told Nightbeat that the bird was stolen from him and thanked him for finding it. Nightbeat didn't believe him and knocked him over the head with the the statue. Nightbeat knocked over B'ghdad's men using one of the pawnshop's female patrons as a weapon and fled the scene. Bird of Prey!

• B'ghdad is based on the character Joel Cairo (Cairo, Baghdad, geddit?) from The Maltese Falcon. Joel Cairo was most famously played by actor Peter Lorre, whose characterization of Cairo also served as the basis of Dirge's portrayal in Theft of the Golden Disk.
