This article is about the Generation 1 Autobot. For the Unicron Trilogy Decepticon, see Thunderblast (Decepticon).
Chromia is a female Autobot in Generation One continuity.

"At least our animated character models didn't have high heels."

Chromia is a rough-and-tumble blue collar trucker gal, which means, of course, that she's Ironhide's girlfriend. She's not afraid of getting dirty, which is good, because she probably always is.

Chromia and the other female Autobots were an elite squad of warriors under the command of the Quintessons.

(Note: Dreamwave filed for bankruptcy and stopped producing Transformers books right as the female Autobots arc was beginning.)

Timelines: Descent into Evil

Chromia and her ward Flareup were part of an Autobot strike force tasked with destroying the Decepticon general Deathsaurus' cloning lab on Ceti Alpha Seven. Although the pair had handily beaten Deathsaurus' Insecticon underling Buzzclaw on Regulon Four, they were taken by surprise by the first production run of clones. Although Chromia fought effectively against the clones, she was no match for Deathsaurus himself when he entered the battle personally. Falling before the general's might, she was taken captive. Chromia, along with her teammates, was rescued by the timely arrival of Ironhide and Ratchet.
