Nefarious #1 Ratbat joined Buzzsaw, Rumble, Dirt Boss and Beastbox in freeing the captured Soundwave from a Bumblebee led Autobot convoy in New Mexico. Ratbat battled Knock Out with Buzzsaw, until Bumblebee, seeing his team being overwhelmed, pulled out and allowed the Decepticons to retreive Soundwave.
