Let's see what you can see...

This article is in need of images.

Specifics: Could do with a pic of Magnificus' toy.
This article is about the evil Autobot who may or may not be a scientist. For his heroic scientist counterpart, see Perceptor (G1). For a list of other meanings, see Perceptor (disambiguation).
Who am I? Who AM I? *sob*

This article is about a character or concept whose name has never been officially confirmed.
For more information, see Help:Nameless.

"Perceptor" is an evil Autobot from the "Shattered Glass" continuity family.
So once the All Hail Optimus Prime storyline starts he'll get all soft and sciency?

"Perceptor" is totally cool with violence. Which is good, because Alpha Trion is cooking up a lot of it.

Fiction

Shattered Glass

Perceptor stood guard at the gates of Iacon just before the launch of the Ark, saluting Rodimus and Cliffjumper upon their return. Shattered Glass

Later, Perceptor answered the call of his secret master Alpha Trion, taking the interdimensional visitor Breakaway captive. He was really hoping for a little struggle out of his prisoner. Reunification: Part 1

Then Landquake impaled him. Reunification: Part 2

Toys

Generation 1

  • Magnificus & Ga'Mede (Decepticon, 2005)
    • Japanese ID number: 68
    • Accessories: "Ion Rifle", "Spear Gun" missile launcher, 3 missiles
Perceptor was repurposed from Magnificus.
An e-Hobby exclusive redeco of the Perceptor toy, Magnificus transforms into a working microscope (though not with a very high magnification rate), as well as a tank that Microman figures can ride. As with all Japanese releases, he has a fully-functional spring-loaded missile launcher weapon, where the US versions had to have them weakened for safety reasons.
He came with his partner Ga'mede.
