Breakdown is a retool of Deluxe Class Animated Rodimus Minor, transforming into a futuristic car that is an homage to the vehicle mode of Generation 1 Hot Rod. A panel on the car's hood, which is also the figure's chest, can be flipped to either show an engine block or the figure's Decepticon insignia. The figure comes with a spring-loaded missile-launching double crossbow. His bow can be tabbed to the roof of his car mode or snapped on his hand. The tabs that secure his bow in vehicle mode are 5mm wide, making it useable by other figures as well. His legs are normally bent for the underside of his car mode but can be locked straight during transformation.
He is only available as part of the BotCon 2011 box set, which also includes Motormaster, Wildrider, Drag Strip, and Dead End.
This mold was also used to make Black Rodimus.
