- Failsafe is a Mini-Con from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
Failsafe is true credit to the Green Mini-Con Team. Bright-eyed and resolute, he's ready to take on any challenge at any time, no matter the odds. His older brother, the slacker Flashbang, finds this attitude hilarious, and would probably laugh at Failsafe between handfuls of nachos if Mini-Cons could eat nachos.[1]
When Powerlinxed to a larger Transformer, Failsafe fires homing missiles that can track opponents over long distances and deliver massive damage.
