J.E "Rik" Alvarez is a writer and editor with Fun Publications. Like many others associated with Fun Publications, Alvarez was a member of the Transformers fandom before crossing over into an official capacity.
Alvarez first came into prominence in 1999 with the publication of his Unofficial Guide to Transformers: 1980s Through 1990s.
He officiated at Aaron Archer's wedding.
