Townsend Coleman (born May 28, 1954) is an American voice actor. Townsend has done voices for many, many cartoons including Inspector Gadget (playing Corporal Capeman), Fraggle Rock, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (playing Michaelangelo), Jem, Batman: The Animated Series, and the Superman: Doomsday direct to video movie. Townsend Coleman is arguably best known for his role as the title character in The Tick animated series (coincidentally also voice directed by Susan Blu). He is currently one of the commercial announcer's for The Hub network.

  • At the Cartoon Network panel at BotCon 2008, it was revealed that much of Sentinel Prime's character design evolved after Townsend Coleman was cast for the role, specifically the visual cues to Coleman's earlier role as the Tick.
