Transformers Animated: The Chase is a Japanese driving arcade game developed by Sega. One or two players can take the wheel of their characters of choice by swiping the bar-codes on the Transformers Cards developed for The Chase, which inserts the character of choice into the game. Cards could be bought in randomized 5-packs, or came packaged with certain toys.

Though it is technically an Animated game, several character cards were made for toys from other franchises, primarily Generation 1, though characters from the live-action film series and even Beast Wars have popped up. There are also a few characters created specifically for the game, as well as some original same-character redeco concepts.

Card listings

Cards with star ratings (*) are rarer; the more stars, the rarer the card.

Original set

The first set of Cards used toy photography for their illustrations, with a few digital recolors.

Version 2.0

The second set of Cards replaced the toy photography with in-game character models.

Version 3.0

Version 4.0

The first ten cards listed (A-002 through M-018) are "Combination" cards, which can be set next to their The Shooting counterparts to make a complete image.
