- Driller is a Decepticon from the Dark of the Moon portion of the live-action film series continuity family.
Driller is Shockwave's pet.
Fiction
IDW Dark of the Moon comics
Years before the war began, the Driller attacked some Hatchlings and their protector Starscream, Megatron and Shockwave saved them from the creature, Shockwave horever was amazed by the creature and called it "magnificent" Foundation issue 2
Some point before or during the war, Shockwave adopted the creature as his pet and was brought to Earth, as Astrotrain built a cage for it. Rising Storm issue 3 as his master was about to get killed by Optimus Prime, the Driller made it to Philadelphia and saved his master, after it left Ironhide knew what it was and assured to Prime if the Driller is what he think is, then they are in a big trouble.
