Fire in the Dark

Doctor Sanford's dig in the Labná ruins in Mexico was interrupted when Ransack enthusiastically ripped out a stone door, sending Theist and the Mini-Con tumbling into a cave below. Furious at the mess, Sanford threatened to kick the Mini-Cons and Kelly off the dig, but Theist suggested he take a look at what she'd found. After seeing the pictures Laserbeak was broadcasting back, Sanford climbed down with a first aid kit and somehow managed to apply medication and look at the pictographs on the walls at the same time.

With Laserbeak's help, they were able to unlock the recorded story of the Natiltec tribe and their encounter with strange beast warriors. Doctor Sanford was extraordinarily pleased, and promised never to say a bad word about the Mini-Cons again, promising them that international archaeology fame was in everyone's future.
