Smallest Transforming Transformers

Smallest Transforming Transformers (極小変形 トランスフォーマー Kyokushō Henkei Transformers), erroneously called "World's Smallest Transformers" or "WSTFs" by fans, was a line created by Takara in 2003. It consisted of Generation 1 characters in the smallest transformable form possible. The figures were blindpacked.

Wave 1

There were two chase figures in the first assortment:

• Bumble (red)
• Skywarp

And one shortpacked figure:

Wave 2

• White Optimus Prime (aka Ultra Magnus)

Wave 2.5

Jazz

Wave 2.5 was only available in certain retail stores in limited quantities. It included:

• Meister
• Megatron
• Convoy ("anime" colors)
• Soundwave
• Starscream

There were two chase figures in the exclusive assortment:

• Thundercracker
• Convoy's trailer ("anime" version)

And one shortpacked figure:

• Hot Rodimus

Unreleased and miscellaneous

• Hot Rodimus was later re-released as a Toys'R'Us exclusive with purchases of THS-02 Convoy.
• Trade show images originally suggested a third wave of Smallest Transforming Transformers, which would have added the then-unreleased Hot Rodimus, as well as still-unreleased versions of Skids, Tracks, and Megatron's stock and silencer accessories. Skids and Tracks were reportedly unproduced for cost reasons.
• Only the items listed here are official Smallest Transforming Transformers toys. Multiple fan-groups have produced similar-scaled items based on old Transformers toys, but they are all unlicensed, unofficial product.
