Synopsis

This book recounts the events of "Home Is Where the Spark Is" and "Total Meltdown", through the use of cartoon screen captures arranged in comic book style panels.

Home Is Where the Spark Is

• Angry Archer gives a hearty laugh as he swings away from Optimus Prime, at least until Prime's axe chops his rope.
• Prime putting out the burning car is missing.
• The scene with Prowl being ambushed by the paparazzi in the park is gone completely.
• Prime's line about their home coming together is missing, as is Bulkhead's "breaking stuff is kinda fun" line and the end of that scene after Prime's "roll with it" line.
• Prowl's description of what he saw in the park is left out, 'cause the original scene was.
• Sumdac claiming not to be thirsty and then chugging the cup of tea is missing.
• Megatron viewing the recordings is left out, jumping straight to him discovering he can use the lab's robot arms.
• The screenshot of the claw holding the pocketbot specifically uses a frame from when its eye is flashing, resulting in the lens flare making it look like it's being zapped or something.
• The scene with Sari contacting Bumblebee is left out.
• Sari's subsequent conversation with her dad is missing too, as well as the sequence where she deactivates the Tutor Bot.
• Bulkhead's line in reaction to Prowl assaulting Bumblebee is missing.
• Optimus's confusion over the sleeping bag and Bulkhead's general confusion over everything are both left out.
• The shenanigans with Bulkhead trying to get into Sari's sleeping bag are skipped.
• Prowl jumping into the Twister™ game is missing—Bulkhead just suddenly announces "Hey! you won!" for no reason. Bumblebee's angry reaction is left out though.
• Sari's "You should have seen your face!" line is substituted with just laughter.
• Sari explaining how she can use her key is missing.
• Prime saving Sari and Prowl joining the other Autobots in being attack by the machines, both gone.
• Bumblebee getting his butt scorched is left out.
• Megatron's line as Bulkhead tries to stop the machines is missing, and Optimus's attempt to save Bulkhead is trimmed down to him jumping in the air and promptly getting grabbed by the electromagnet.
• According to the narrative boxes, it's the pocketbot that somehow launches canisters at Prowl.
• More dialogue referring back to the earlier wildlife scenes is missing. Bumblebee responds to Bulkhead's comment with "What? I can stand still, see?"
• Bumblebee's "eat crankcase oil" line is left out.
• Prime is only released from the electromagnet after the fuel tanks start leaking. Megatron's comment about their fleeting victory is missing.
• After Sari wonders about her key, Ratchet's line is missing.
• The final scene at the Autobot base is completely left out.
