The Dinobots are a rough-and-tumble group of Mini-Con warriors who are at their best in harsh environments. Allied with the Autobots, whenever a mission is set in a dangerous jungle or festering swamp, the Dinobots are the ones to handle it!
The Mini-Con Dinobots consist of...
- Hacksaw a stegosaurus and the team leader
- Knockdown a triceratops
- Terrorsaur a tyrannosaurus rex
- Swoop a pteranodon

Swoop originated as a bulk, serving Optimus Prime as part of the original crew of the Ark where he was rebuilt into a pteranodon. The Last Stand He had many adventures as a part of Grimlock's Dinobots until he was critically injured by an Underbase-powered Starscream. Dark Star He spent much time off-line until he was restored by Grimlock using Nucleon just in time to participate in the battle against Unicron. On the Edge of Extinction!

- The whole set of molds was used to make Ransack, Windrazor and Stockade from the Battle Support Team component of the Universe Mini-Cons 10-pack.
Notes
- Hacksaw was an original, non-toy character created for the Collector's Club prose story, The New World. His addition was made for story reasons, as the origin of the Classics Mini-Cons presented in that piece was somewhat incompatible with Classics Swoop being the original G1 Dinobot.
