[edit]
  • Mini-Con Class 10 Pack (Multi-pack, 2009)
  • Series: Armada Series
Universe Windrazor is a redeco of Classics Swoop, transforming into a robotic Pteranodon. His jointing allows him to stand on his hind-feet as well as assume a normal "flying" position; some other releases of this mold have the beast mode feet misassembled (they're flipped upside-down), but Windrazor came out okay. As a Mini-Con, he has a "Powerlinx" socket that allows him to attach to larger toys with compatible Powerlinx plugs.
He was only available as part of a Mini-Con ten-pack, along with Ransack, Stockade, Overcharge, Sky Shadow, Scavenger, Longview, Snow Cat, Treadshot, and Crosshairs. This set was only available at certain retailers, notably Kmart and Meijer in the US, Canadian Tire in Canada, and Tesco in the UK. He was also avaiable in Spain's El Corte Inglês department stores.
This mold was also used to make Reptix, Dark of the Moon Rav, Swoop/Strafe, and Paulie.

Notes

[edit]
  • It may be a complete coincidence, but it's funny that a redeco of Classics Swoop would share the name with a possible future incarnation of Swoop.
  • While the actual toy is assembled correctly, the Hasbro stock photography has Windrazor's beast mode footclaws assembled upside-down.
  • The colors of the three Dinobot Mini-Con repaints are likely a homage to Power Rangers' Dinozord - being a red T-rex, a pink Pteranodon and a blue Triceratops.
