Sam Young Studio is an animation studio that participated in the production of the original Transformers animated series. Sam Young Studios was also retained for other Sunbow productions, such as My Little Pony 'n' Friends and Jem, as well as shows such as Smurfs and Denver the Last Dinosaur.
For The Transformers, Sam Young Studios provided technical work, such as camera operations, special effects and finalizing the production, while the actual animation of the series was done by studios such as Toei and AKOM.
