The space bridge nexus is a series of space bridges that serve as a central transit route throughout the network of space bridges. One of which is located on Cybertron. So it kind of serves as a train station...

The space bridge nexus was inside the Decepticon Command Headquarters on Cybertron, causing it to be targeted by five Heralds of Unicron preparing to bring Unicron into this reality. After killing the Decepticons inhabiting the base, they activated all the space bridges in the nexus, causing distortions in dimensional space. Worlds Collide, Part 2 of 4 Detecting this, Jetfire and a team of Autobots infiltrated Decepticon Command Headquarters to investigate, and did battle with Bludgeon, left behind to guard the space bridge nexus. As the nexus began punching holes into many other universes and putting stress on dimensional space, Blurr and Side Swipe attempted to shut it down, but found the command controls to be locked out. The Autobots opted to simply set charges and blow the whole nexus to smithereens, which Jetfire did manually and on his own. Just as the Heralds reappeared to investigate the disturbance, he spotted Optimus Prime, who had recently gone missing, in one of the portals and jumped through it.
