WE BLAME YOU.

Earl Kress (1951 - September 19, 2011) was an American writer. In addition to Transformers, he also wrote episodes of Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain (both of which netted him a Daytime Emmy), Road Rovers, and Kim Possible. He was also one of the scriptwriters on The Fox and the Hound.

In 2011, Kress passed away at age 60 after a battle with cancer. His final works were the animated films Tom & Jerry Meet Sherlock Holmes, released in 2010, and Tom & Jerry in the Wonderful World of Oz, which was released shortly before his death.
