A Reticulated Sprotchet is a component used in an Autobot shuttle in Generation 1 continuity
Fiction
Battle on the Junk Planet
When their Autobot shuttle is damaged by meteors and forced to land on The Junk Planet, Sprocket concludes they will need a Reticulated Sprotchet to make repairs. Springer despairs at locating such a hard-to-find component, but the eagle-eyed Arcee is able to find one. "Luckily, the Junk Planet is full of spare parts!"
Battle of the Junk Planet is a greatly-altered telling of the first meeting between the Autobots and the Junkions.
