The name Dinobot has been applied to several Transformers characters and groups.
- 1985 — The Dinobots, an Autobot subgroup led by Grimlock in Generation 1.
- 1994 — "The Dinobots!", the comic story published in the Official Transformers Generation 2 Annual.
- 1996 — Dinobot, the Maximal velociraptor from Beast Wars.
- 1996 — Clone One, aka the Dinobot Clone, a beast-mode duplicate of the Maximal Dinobot from Beast Wars.
- 1998 — Dinobot, the Predacon Transmetal clone of the Maximal Dinobot from Beast Wars.
- 1999 — Dinobot II, the Predacon Transmetal 2 clone of the Maximal Dinobot from Beast Wars.
