1980's
1984
- The Transformers launches in the US.
1985
- Seasons 1 and 2 of the US cartoon air in Japan as 'Super Robot Lifeform Somethign Something.'
1990's
1996
- Beast Wars is launched to initial fan skepticism.
2000's
2002
- Aaron Archer does his best to kill Transformers through incredible sales, Armada kicks off the Unicron Trilogy.
- Dreamwave Productions begins publishing Transformers comics. There is much rejoicing.
2005
- Dreamwave Productions goes bankrupt. Many artists complain about being unpaid for their work and/or being stuck with FedEx fees. Pat Lee gives them the finger and drives off in his porsche.
