Rex is a Republic clone from the Star Wars universe.
Have you seen me?

This character or person needs some sort of visual representation. If you have one, please replace this.

Captain Rex is a clone trooper captain who likes to use transforming battle suits of various sizes to stomp into hordes of enemy battle droids, guns blazing. During one mission he surprised the droids with a mighty AT-TE,[1] and when he learned of Separatist activity on Orto Plutonia, he used a Freeco Bike to investigate.[2]

    • Accessories: Missile launcher/gun, missile
Captain Rex transforms from a white robot to a gray, six-legged AT-TE walker. Like his fellow clone Cody, Rex's largely shellformerish body (and incredibly boxy alternate mode) allows for more humanoid proportions in robot mode than most other Star Wars Transformers. Rex's main gun turret is a missile launcher, and detaches to become a handheld gun in robot mode. The toy appears to have been designed for but never released in the earlier Star Wars Transformers line, as it features an opening cockpit for a minifigure it doesn't have.
Rex was first made available in 2009 in blue and white packaging. He was re-released in 2010 in black and white packaging with a slightly changed bio, though the toy remains the same. In between these releases, the toy was also sold labeled as a generic clone trooper. The mold was redecoed into Clone Captain Keeli.
During the period between 26 December 2010 and 31 January 2011, Hasbro ran their "Supercharge Your Holidays" promotion: for every $20 spent on Hasbro-branded product, customers could receive a free, random product from a list provided by Hasbro. Among the items on the list was "Star Wars Transformers Crossovers". According to this discussion thread on Allspark.com, Captain Rex to AT-TE was one of the figures distributed.
