This article is about the Universe Dinobot. For the Go-Bots character, see Reptron (Go-Bots).
Reptron is a Dinobot from the 2003 Universe portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Looks rather like the Iron Giant, doesn't he?

Reptron is young and inexperienced, but don't let that fool anyone. He's a capable mechanic and killer.

Fiction

The Wreckers comic

In a time period following the reformatting of Cybertron itself, Reptron worked with T-Wrecks and his Dinobots. T-Wrecks wasn't thrilled about having a crew member so young and inexperienced, but Reptron countered that since he was acting as ship mechanic for no payment except passage to Cybertron, his boss shouldn't complain. He was indeed a good mechanic, fixing the Rusty Mace by stealing all the necessary parts from other ships in the hangar. The Wreckers: Finale Part 1

On Cybertron, Reptron and the Dinobots battled the Quintessons and their legion of Sharkticon shock troops. When Dinotron introduced the idea of "counting kills" as a competition, Reptron eagerly joined in the game. Remarkably, he managed to rack up more than double the points of Dinotron or Triceradon, while swinging a Quintesson by his tentacles as a cudgel. Wreckers: Finale Part II

Toys

Playskool Go-Bots

  • Reptron (Basic Go-Bot, 2002)
Go-Bots Reptron transforms into a cartoony orange raptor, and shares the same mold as Dino-Bot, who was released at the same time. This mold was also used to make Greg in Japan.
This toy was repurposed as Universe Reptron.
