The name or term "Optimus Prime" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Optimus Prime (disambiguation).
Optimus Prime is an Autobot from the Aligned continuity family.

The Autobot hero Optimus Prime loves competing against others as long as the fight is fair. He is known to cloak himself to avoid weaker opponents and use his launcher to take on the strong ones.
