Mitsuo Iwata (岩田 光央, Iwata Mitsuo born July 31, 1967) is a Japanese voice actor. He is probably best known as the voice of Kaneda from Akira. He has also voiced Mic Sounders XIII from King of Braves GaoGaiGar, whose singing voice (Masaaki Endoh) is one of the members of JAM Project.

He is married to Rikako Aikawa, the Japanese voice of Strika.
