When Ratchet was taken hostage by the Decepticons early in the war, Orion Pax expected the Autobots would have to trade them a high-profile captive like Killmaster to get him back. Omega's Conundrum
During the war, Killmaster and Whirl became nemeses. Their rivalry ended when the Autobot broke into a Decepticon medical facility and crushed Killmaster's brain while he was recharging, effectively killing him, and then shoved his wand up his... ahem. Cybertronian Homesick Blues
