There are some things man just wasn't meant to know!
Primacron is an alien fish-monkey character in the Generation 1 continuity family.

Primacron is an absolutely ancient scientist responsible for building Unicron at the dawn of the galaxy in the Generation 1 cartoon continuity. He's supposedly hyper-intelligent with an infinity of intricate plans nested within plans, but he sometimes over-thinks things to the point of comming off as rather dim.

Primacron's Assistant claims that they built some of the "primitive" Transformers way back when (a group composed of Skylinx, Trypticon, the Dinobots, Predacons, Terrorcons, and the animal-form cassettes). As he grew more ambitious Primacron eventually constructed Unicron who rebeled against him. Unicron's attack appeared to destroy the assistant (see his entry for that wierd matix-related loose end) and badly injured Primacron.

The little ape-lizard was down but not out. Not to be undone by a giant planet devouring robotic monster, Primacron returned millions of years later to try the whole conquest thing again. This time he created the giant energy siphoning monster: Tornadron. The same thing proceeded to happen again and the little bugger would have been toast in not for Grimlock's simple insticts. Grimlock then proceeded to wreck his lab, hopefully beyond repair.

Notes

- When first telling their story, the assistant calls him "the being we will refer to as Primacron" and later calls himself "The primacron's assistant." These seem to suggest that "Primacron" may actually be some sort of title and not this creature's actual name.

-Many points in the episode (Call of the Primitives) open large questions about how they relate to previously established history. Included among these are which primitives did he build, and how Primacron relates to the Quintessons, Vector Sigma, his Assistant, and the Matrix. None of these have ever been answered.
