"Improvise— no, wait, wrong story."

A Great Sword is an ancient weapon that was passed down through the Circle of Light. It is said to be extremely powerful, mainly because it drew power from the user's spark, which could result in the death of the user. Because of this, the weapon is only used as a last resort, when the situation is so dire it has to be used.

  • Given the sheer size of a Great Sword, there's a certain lack of practicality in carrying it if its use is so restricted.
  • It is never explained just how the spark powers up the sword. Presumably, the spark generates heat to the blade... so couldn't an external, non-fatal heat source be a better choice?
